THE BIG PICTURE

Connect gas monitoring with plant response

Greentech Engineers integrates gas detection, emergency shut-off, PLC-based automation, alarms and remote operational controls for industrial gas installations.

For Natural Gas applications, fixed detectors continuously monitor methane concentrations. When configured alarm thresholds are exceeded, the system can provide audible and visual warnings and activate emergency shutdown, ventilation or automatic isolation where those functions are integrated.

SCOPE & CAPABILITIES

A coordinated safety and automation scope

Fixed gas detection

Fixed detectors monitor methane or other specified combustible and toxic gases, using equipment selected for the application.

Emergency shut-off

Emergency shutdown and automatic isolation can be integrated with detection and control systems where required.

Alarms and indication

Programmable low and high alarm levels, hooters and strobes provide audible and visual warnings.

PLC and SCADA integration

Connect gas monitoring and control equipment with plant PLC/SCADA systems through suitable interfaces.

Remote controls and monitoring

Support operational visibility, remote controls and event logging through the integrated automation system.

System components and wiring

Coordinate control panels, junction boxes, cabling and optional manual call points with the installation.

FIXED GAS MONITORING

From field detection to a coordinated response

Field detectors communicate with a central control panel or plant automation system. Configured alarm levels provide warnings, while relay outputs can support shutdown and safety interlocks.

PLANT AUTOMATION INTERFACES

Monitoring that connects with your controls

Modbus communication and 4–20 mA signal interfaces can connect detection equipment with PLC and SCADA systems. Event logging and real-time monitoring support operational visibility.

Audible and visual alarms indicate configured threshold exceedances. Emergency shutdown, ventilation and automatic isolation actions are included where the installation has been designed and integrated for those functions.

HOW WE WORK

Engineering through ongoing maintenance

  1. Engineer and supply

Select and supply detection, alarm and control equipment for the installation’s safety requirements.

  2. Install and integrate

Install field devices, panels and cabling, and integrate plant controls and required shutdown functions.

  3. Test and commission

Test and commission the system, with calibration services for detection equipment.

  4. Maintain and support

Provide annual maintenance and calibration support for continued monitoring and operation.

WHERE WE ADD VALUE
