    LPG – Liquefied Propane Gas is mainly mixture of propane and butane with a small percentage of other higher hydrocarbons. The ratio of Carbon to Hydrogen is least in Propane and hence it burns almost completely making it environment friendly. It is procured from the oil / gas wells and transported through a network of pipelines

    Reticulated system is supplying LPG through pipeline network from a centralized cylinder bank or bulk installation to the customer’s kitchen. The system is designed through multiple pressure regulation stages to reach LPG to the users at low pressure to make it safer.

    If you are interested in using PNG for domestic use (i.e. cooking, water heating) you have to fill up our Contact Us form. On receipt of the same our Marketing Team shall contact you with our registration form which needs to be submitted to our representative duly filled along with any one of the supporting documents i.e. Electricity bill, Society Receipt, Flat Agreement, rent receipt and requisite charges by cheque / draft only.

    Your gas consumption bills are generated every month as per the gas meter reading just like electricity meter. Meter Reading taken by our meter reader who visits your home every month. Billing processes and calculations differ depending on the type of user (Residential / Commercial / Industrial). It is essential that you know your gas supply type (i.e Residential / Commercial / Industrial) to make cross-reference with the appropriate rates for your bill calculation. Bill calculations for LPG supply require parameters such as pressure and temperature. The table below displays the units of measurement and rates for residential and commercial/industrial customers.

    Presently, various gas based appliances such as Gas Geyser, Air Conditioners and Generators are available in the Market. However, Gas geyser is being predominantly used in domestic segment in our operational areas. The other appliances such as Air Conditioners and Generators are being used mostly in commercial and industrial establishments.

     

    Connections

    You can pay your gas bills by DD/ Cheque in favor of Greentech Engineers only. No payment should be made in cash.

    You may surrender the LPG connection as per the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG) notification dated 23-09-09. However, if you do not surrender the LPG connection within 60 days after starting of PNG supply, MGL reserves the right to disconnect the PNG supply.

    • Do not ignite the burner or any other items
    • Do no switch on / off any electrical switches / appliances in the house
    • Do not operate mobile phone inside the house
    • Do not attempt to repair the gas equipment or pipelines
    • Before igniting the cooking appliances, ensure that there is no gas smell
    • Ensure that the rubber hose is in good condition and it is properly fixed to cooking appliance and appliance valve
    • Open the gas tap first, then the knob of the cooking appliance and ignite the burner immediately
    • Ensure hot utensils or hot items should not touch the rubber hose of gas stove
    • After cooking make a practice to close the gas tap
    • Use only stoves converted to run on PNG
